Goff’s Subsurface Utility Engineering services vary from utility locating and mapping to Subsurface Utility Engineering (Quality Levels A-D). Our SUE services are offered as a standalone service or coupled with our Surveying, Engineering, or land use planning services.
Passage of Colorado Senate Bill SB18-167 was motivated to increase public safety and reduce utility construction costs. Public Agencies are now required to use risk-based utility mapping consistent with national standards. Goff follows the ASCE 38-02 (Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data) and has developed internal processes to efficiently research, locate, and prepare S.U.E certified plans in compliance with ASCE 38.
Goff maintains an in-house array of advanced subsurface geophysical utility locating equipment, allowing us to be efficient, thorough, and consistent when locating underground utilities. Our broad experience and familiarity with regional utility providers will be beneficial to your project’s schedule and budget by avoiding unplanned utility conflicts.
