I enjoy large, complex construction staking projects and cadastral surveying. The Florida Road reconstruction project, the Alamosa Airport, and CFI Intersection are some of my most memorable projects
Rob was born in Phoenix, AZ and grew up in Lakewood, CO. In 1989, he moved to Durango to attend Fort Lewis College where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.
He joined Atlatl, Inc. in 1995 as a CAD/instrument person and transitioned to the Goff team in 1997 when the two firms merged. He obtained his PLS in 2006 and became a firm principal in 2007.
In 2018, Rob was elected to oversee the firm’s operations as the President-CEO. Rob specializes in construction staking, Airport surveys (design and construction), boundary surveys, cadastral surveys, easement determination and creation, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, and utility and route surveys.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Rob enjoys mountain biking, backpacking, yoga, playing guitar, vegetable gardening, and is a Durango Snow Burners Nordic ski coach. Rob is also the past president and actively involved with the Professional Surveyors of Colorado – SW Chapter.
