Mancos School District Re-6 K–12 Health, Safety and Security Facilities Renovation

Overview
For the Mancos School District renovation project, Goff completed construction drawings for parking lot improvements, a new access from Grand Avenue, CDOT access permitting, utility extensions, bus maneuverability analysis, grading and drainage, track and athletic field design, and wetland permitting coordination funded by a BEST grant. The design included civil improvements for the additions of:
- Cafeteria, classrooms, and administrative offices in the Elementary School
- Cafeteria and counseling offices in the Multi-Purpose Building
- New girls’ restroom in the High School
- Infill classrooms in the Middle School
- New athletic fields and track, including bleachers and concessions
- New pedestrian bridge over the Mancos River to serve the outdoor learning area
The project also included the following structural renovations:
- Kitchen and classrooms in the Elementary School
- Kitchen in the Multi-Purpose Building
- Classrooms, counseling, and administrative offices in the High School
- Classrooms in the Middle School
