Overview

The Ignacio 11-JT School District obtained a BEST grant for district improvements. After the community approved the bond issue, Goff prepared detailed improvement plans for Ignacio Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. The construction budget for all three sites totaled $50 million. Goff provided Construction Administration services for all sites. The High School included improvements to the track and athletic fields. Specifically, Goff provided site improvements, site demolition plans, grading and drainage plans, storm drainage, utility extensions, retaining wall plan, and water quality/detention pond plans.  The Middle School was constructed via a design/bid/build process. The Elementary School was completed with a contractor selected via the CM/GC process. Additional work for the Transportation and Maintenance Facility included detailed grading and drainage plans, parking lot design, bus maneuverability analysis, and utility extensions for new pre-engineered metal building.
